The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), under the Safe Drinking Water Act’s 2021 Lead and Copper Rule Revisions, requires all Public Water Systems (PWS) to prepare an inventory of service line materials within their distribution systems to support nationwide efforts to identify and eliminate lead service lines and reduce lead exposure.
Last year you received a letter regarding unknown material of your service line; After thorough investigation, Clarksville Connected Utilities has determined your service line contains no galvanized or lead material on your side of the meter in the yard and needs no further action.
